Shipping
Where do you ship to?
Shyne delivers orders across the whole of South Africa. Please note that we do not ship to PO boxes, international shipping is launching soon.
What is the cost of shipping?
Shipping is through a third-party service at a flat rate of R85. Good news, though, is that if your purchase is above R1000, shipping is free!
What are the estimated delivery timelines?
Once your order is placed, it will take 2 business days to prepare your order. Shipping usually takes between 3-5 days from when dispatched, depending on your location. Please note that shipping is done through a third-party service provider and timelines are estimates.
Will I be able to track my parcel for delivery?
Once your order is complete, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking information to follow your parcel’s journey, and the contact information of the courier company for ease of reference.
If I bought a gift for someone else, can I get it shipped directly to them?
Yes, all you need to do is put their name and address information as the shipping address and your address as the billing address. Make sure to note at checkout that this is a gift and we will exclude the invoice.
Is my jewellery insured while being shipped?
As per industry norms, shipping insurance is not automatically included in the shipping process. We can, however, assist you in purchasing shipping insurance with our trusted logistics partners.

How do I find my ring size?

How do I know which Hoop Charms to buy for my size Hoop Earrings?
Shyne hoop earring charms have two different bale sizes (the ‘rings’ that thread onto your hoops). Most will fit hoops with a thickness of up to 2.8mm. However, the gemstone charms and diamond danglies are designed for a finer look and fit any hoop with a thickness up to 1.8mm. *Check the product description table of the charm you love to see if it will fit your hoops.
Jewellery Care
How to I correctly wear my jewellery?
Remove your jewellery before doing any physical activity such as exercise, gym, swimming or playing sport. Do not use chemicals while wearing your jewellery i.e., cleaning the house.
How do I correctly store my jewellery?
Store your jewellery in a safe, dry place to protect it from moisture and harsh sunlight. Storing your jewellery in a leather and microsuede jewellery box is ideal.
How do I correctly clean my jewellery?
Cleaning your jewellery regularly with jewellery cleaner will prevent any type of build up and keep your jewellery looking sparkling.
Returns/Exchanges
Does Shyne accept returns or exchanges?
Shyne always wants you to be happy with your purchases, so if you aren’t, you can return or exchange them. You have 14 days from receiving your order to return it. Please make sure that it is returned in the original packaging, unworn and undamaged of course. Once we have received the returned item, we can offer you a store credit or a refund at the purchase price (this is the amount you paid for the jewellery piece, excluding any shipping costs).

Resizing
Does Shyne offer resizing of rings?
Yes, we do! Your first resize will be free, all you pay for is shipping. Please email resizing@shynecollections.com for a quote.
Repairs
What do I do if one of my pieces gets damaged?
Wear and tear is a normal cause of damage to jewellery. If there is a manufacturing fault on your piece, Shyne will repair your piece at no additional charge, within 6 months of purchase. After 6 months, the cost of the repair (and shipping) will be determined once the piece has been inspected.
What should I do if my stones fall out?
Diamonds or gemstones can occasionally fall out, specifically when set in small settings, as these are very delicate. Normal wear and tear is the biggest cause of your stones falling out. Shyne will replace the stone at no cost to you if stones fall out within 3 months of purchase. After 3 months, a repair fee and a stone replacement fee will be charged and will be determined after your item has been inspected.
What do I do if my chain (necklace or bracelet) breaks?
Shyne cannot take any responsibility for your necklace or bracelet chain breaking. Chains are delicate and need to be handled gently.
